My Birthday party

This was the first birthday party in which I cut a cake in the midst of a lot of my friends and family. I was delighted to see many of them.

Some were seeing me for the first time and gifted me nice presents. I will be taking some of the presents back to cyprus.

Temple visit on the birthday

I turned one year today !
We visited the Shanmuga temple close to our house.

From now on the age will be counted in years and not in months like how we did till now. So lesser birthdays to celebrate :(

Green Coconut

It was a coconut green in colour, not sure why they call it tender coconut. Anyway during one of my visits in Bangalore we stopped at a roadside coconut vendor and had coconut water to refresh us in the sweltering summer heat. It was great!

Though it is still a long way before I can get my hands on one of these; I need a documented proof that dad will buy this for me one day. So here it goes- Dad is gonna gift me a car like the one in the picture below.

Yet another flight trip !

Yet another flight trip and I was excited. Unlike my previous trips, this time I enjoyed the experience. I travelled on emirates airlines and I loved the toys they gave me :)

It was 3.00am and yet I was wide awake while dad-mom took me around the dubai airport ! Finally by the time we boarded the flight to bangalore I was very tired and decided to take a short nap.

At the airport, my thatha had come to receive me and was very happy seeing me after a long time. Last we saw I was just 4 months baby. Its tremendous change he says !

I am all excited spending my time with grand-parents, mini-mom and my sweet little baby sister :)

Royal Challengers were so close to winning

This IPL season has been my first and has been unpredictable since it began. I was watching the match with Dad and mom in the office auditorium yesterday with lots of other office personnel.

Till the last over, the match was exciting. It was anybody's game.
Nevertheless it was fun watching the game. Well Done! Deccan.

Fishes can swim.. so why cant I ?

I was out of town over the weekend with Mom, Dad & grandma at latchi village close to Polis. We stayed in Elia beach resort during the weekend as part of Mom’s project event.

We had a nice time, playing games and also swimming.

Flower Festival - Anthestiria

“Anthestiria” is a celebration for the coming of Spring and the renewal of nature and life. In limassol, this festival is celebrated every year in Germasogeia with flower shows and flower parade.

Mom-dad had taken me there during the weekend. The kids were dressed in lovely costumes. As the parade floats passed by, they threw flowers on me and I enjoyed it ! I danced to the music and waved my hand to the kids.

On this occasion, we planted flowers in our own garden. I hope to see them grow and give beautiful flowers soon :)

I know 1 to 10 'coz I am 10 :)

I turn 10 months today and as always there was a special cake baked for me :)

Mom says I have to wait for 2 more months to taste the cake !

Leaky nose :P

I have been fighting cold and cough in the last few days, making frequent visits to my pediatrician.

Her name is Dr Doria and she is the best doc :)

I enjoy playing with toys there, specially the wooden horse, while mom-dad wait for my turn !

Visit to the Zoo !

Dad, mom said its been long since I met my friends and so took me to the zoo over the weekend :)

It was a small zoo with very few animals. I saw zebra, monkeys, peacocks, donkey and lots of birds.

There was also a train ride at the zoo.

Bye Akshara

Akshara, my dearest buddy is leaving cyprus today and heading back to India.

I am going to miss playing with her. But I am also happy for her, as Mom says that she will be closer to her grandparents now.

Last weekend I was out on a picnic with Akshara and below is a picture we took on this occasion.

'Hurray' Its Spring Time

The island of Cyprus looks happier than usual with yellow flowers blooming all around the place. I have been going out with Dad, Mom & friends to a few picnics close to home.

Ears Pierced !

Mom took me to the neighbouring chemist shop and got my ears pierced. I was a brave girl and din't cry much.

New favourite TV Ad

Since the Zee Arabia Advertisement has been taken off air, this time I decided to pursue an Advertisement of Indian Origin. What better than an LIC Ad!
